Applicants who choose to self-identify will be filtered into both the Diverse Talent Stream, which is exclusive to applicants from the four groups, as well as the all-applicant talent pool, which is open to all SEO applicants. Applicants who do not belong to any of the four groups or who choose not to identify will be assigned to the all-applicant talent pool. Please note Diverse Talent Stream candidates will not be required to disclose their individual identities.

A key objective of the SEO program is to build a talent continuum that will enable the OPS to attract, hire, and retain top student talent. This information may be used to fill upcoming vacancies for entry level positions in the OPS. At this point in time, will you be available and interested in an employment opportunity with the OPS following the completion of your SEO contract? Please note, if you select “No” or “I prefer not to answer”, your application will not be considered for future employment opportunities with the OPS. *

Following the submission of your application form, you will be provided with an opportunity to complete a survey. We collect data through a survey to help improve the program and identify potential barriers in the recruitment process. The survey is not part of the recruitment process and is anonymous. Your participation in the survey will help shape the future success of the program and will contribute to our efforts to build a more diverse, inclusive and accessible Ontario Public Service.
